HOW WE TRAIN

Warm Up And Stretches

  • Every class begins with a dynamic warm-up designed to get your blood pumping and muscles prepared. Cardio routines include skipping, circuit exercises, and tyre workouts, each chosen to build endurance and activate your whole body.
  • After the warm-up, we move into a 10-minute stretching session, adjusted to suit all experience levels. Beginners will start with manageable stretches, while advanced students can engage in deeper, more intense stretching to maximize flexibility.
  • There’s no need to be in peak shape when starting kickboxing; our training adjusts to your fitness level, helping you progressively enhance stamina, endurance, and overall fitness as you advance.

Techniques

  • In our technique training, you’ll master foundational skills, from finding the right stance and hand positioning to developing fluid footwork.
  • You’ll learn proper punching and kicking techniques, along with basic blocks and evasions for self-defense.
  • As you grow more confident, you’ll move on to more intricate combinations that sharpen accuracy and timing.
  • For those aiming to compete, we cover fight strategies that give an edge in the ring. Our approach is individualized, allowing you to progress at a comfortable pace and ensuring you’re fully prepared for each level.

Pad Work

  • Pad work is a full-body workout that sharpens cardio, strength, reflexes, and mental focus. You’ll practice punching and kicking combinations with an instructor or training partner holding pads, perfecting form and technique.
  • This includes drill work focused on effective strike sequences and conditioning.
  • Our sessions incorporate a variety of strikes, from roundhouse and side kicks to spinning, jump, and front kicks, as well as knee techniques, creating a well-rounded foundation in kickboxing.

Bag Work

  • Bag work emphasizes power, endurance, and precision. You’ll engage in single and combination strikes on both light and heavy bags, building strength and cardio capacity.
  • This training refines muscle tone across the body and enhances technique, helping you adopt and experiment with freestyle combinations.
  • Bag work provides a great setting for trying new moves, improving your fitness and refining your style in a controlled environment.

Sparring

  • Sparring introduces the practical experience of a fight scenario, sharpening mental and physical skills essential in the ring. It improves reaction times, footwork, speed, offense, and defense.
  • You’ll gain confidence as you work on real-time decision-making, moving seamlessly between offensive and defensive maneuvers.
  • This part of training is designed to be safe and supportive, offering you a controlled environment to practice your skills, push your limits, and apply everything you’ve learned.
